The Middle East is an area where automobile is king and fuel is low-cost, typically leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly methods of around.

But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have risen the cost of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered into sharp focus.

In a region that has among the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one service is taking advantage of the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing profitable too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
