Blue Northern Energy Acquires Quicksilver Biodiesel Technology
Blue Northern Energy is revitalizing the biodiesel market. BNE's objective is to create a sustainable and profitable biofuel throughout the United States. BNE combines the current innovation advances, refining processes and ingenious minds to develop sustainable and lucrative biodiesel production centers. BNE provides assistance and options to companies and communities in their ventures to establish new biodiesel production facilities or retrofitting existing centers to make them sustainable and rewarding. Through its work and proficiency BNE, differentiates itself as the leader in the renewable resource field.
Blue Northern Energy (BNE) has acquired a distinct technology for producing biodiesel fuel. The Quicksilver Biodiesel Technology (QSB) is a continuous biodiesel production process by the trans-esterification of veggie oils. Multiple feedstocks might be used, allowing the most affordable expense feedstocks to be used. The ability to customize the process continually, as the feedstocks alter by regulating the other reactants to the procedure rather than changing batch dishes, makes it a highly versatile and more effective process. The process also enables a reduction in capital cost of as much as 40% and a decrease in operating cost through lower energy expense of as much as 30%. These advantages of the innovation have been confirmed through a 3rd party evaluation finished by the Center for Process Innovation.
The QSB innovation has been extensively checked at the pilot plant in Budapest, Hungary. Feedstocks from Europe along with the USA have been demonstrated, both separately as well as blends.
Developing and enhancing the technology is a high top priority for BNE, and fundamental to our global growth plans. In order to support this, BNE will be developing a brand-new Innovation Center located next to the first biodiesel plant in Newton, Illinois. The center will have the capability to show future feedstock processing and perform comprehensive fuel quality measurements for BNE plants and experimental samples.
It is the administrator of the BN National Trail facility from conceptualization, advancement, building and construction to management. This center exemplifies the innovative technology of BNE and production procedure that made use of several crops, edible and non-edible, for sustainable, high quality and successful biodiesel production.
BNE's staff will increase to support this innovation program. A senior chemical procedure expert will be employed to carry out mass and energy balance calculations and develop the chemical procedure for sophisticated feedstocks.
